I dunno man, I don't think any kind of power washing or steam cleaning is a good idea for a Z32 engine bay. Far too cramped, with connectors and wiring everywhere; something will probably go wrong.

Agreed, not worth the risk in my humble opinion.

How do you go about cleaning enine bay

I powerwash my engine bay, no problems.

Make sure it's cold, spray on a good engine cleaner or degreaser, let it work, maybe scrub areas that are extra dirty with a brush then hose of with hose or pressure washer. It can handle some water just use your head and don't apply direct pressure at connectors or other areas where the pressure can force water in...

I wouldn't steam clean the chassis either

Pressure washing the chassis is fine, but steam cleaning could remove the seam sealer and any underbody coating.

Oh. And if you want it looking the part afterwards I can recommend meguiars engine dressing. Just spray on and leave it be.
