semi-auto gearbox??

Wouid I be right in thinking that the auto gearboxes can be converted to semi auto? If it can be done, what sort of cost?

 

Only reason i ask is that i'm looking for a good Z right now and as you know most are autos. I'd prefer a manual but if an auto can be converted to semi-auto then i could happily live with it.

    I'm sure i saw one for sale on here last week that had one (or something similar) fitted.

     

    Wouldn't mind talking to someone who has one just to see how good they are. Main reason i'd want one is to hold the car in a gear rather than shift up/down when i don't want it to.
