So after finding out my zed needs new turbos and is rusting through again despite being welded up twice (before I owned it) in the last 4 years I've decided to cut my loses and get a fresh import. Well, to try anyway! The paint is rubbish in general so by the time I pay for all of that I could import one with half or even a third of the mileage! And in white :tt1: precisely the wrong time to decide this as I'd just ordered $1000 worth of stuff from czp and a load of stuff from baz, ah well!

 

gazwoz has said he'll keep an eye out for me, but I like to be proactive. Was wondering what websites people recommend looking at? So far I've found buyee, goonet exchange and seen the auctions through jdm auction watch.

 

Any more websites I should be scouring?

Have a look at this car. I know for a fact that it's not long been in the country for very long, 4 or 5 months at the most, possibly less and the guy that imports them seems to get some nice imports over. He's on here, Josh Lake and on facebook, very nice chap.

I had thought it was a manual though....auto, but ask him also, I know he has got a nice TT manual which he may be keeping for himself.

Thanks, yea that's one of the cars that made my mind up when I realised what I could get for the money. But I think I'd always regret not getting a white one, though I really want a 99 front bumper so it's nearly there! I'll ask him about the other though.

 

Not fussed about getting an auto, I'll swap the manual over from the current zed if need be along with everything else worth keeping! That's a conversion itself so can go back to being an auto.

Heres a nice looking White TT, looks clean but i'm not sure what the 'repaired' entails. Also paint has faded slightly

I'm off charge at work at the moment so I think I've looked at every car on there :biggrin: Doesn't have a 99 front bumper. Quite a few seem to have them fitted so I'm happy to wait for one that does
