I popped out earlier to get something from the car and saw someone has stuck a scratch along my passenger side rear door.

Why do people do this ? I hate any kind of crime against people and their property but at least when I see theft, joyriding, even setting fire to a car, I think I have a glimpse of understanding as to the payback / thrill of doing it. Don't get me wrong, I do NOT agree with it and it makes me angry - but I can just about understand what's going through someone's head.

But what possible pleasure / payback could anyone get from sticking a 2 foot scratch down the side of my car ? I don't have an enemy in the world (well, there maybe the odd one on here but you know what I mean) so why would someone do this ?

Some one in our street had the word TW*T scratched into his door. He was selling at the time.

we had a merc come into work the other week, someone had poured paint stripper on EVERY panel & all 4 alloys :( he was an old boy as well, prob never done any harm to anyone.

Yeah I know just how you feel right now Dave:(

When I was up at Craigs for a visit, an excellent evening drinking and playing silly card games was soured next morning. Some dipsh*t put a 12inch scratch on the rear quater of my Skyline.

Totally pointless:confused:

Jealousy I guess, or perhaps someone had a bad attitude against Mondeos.....

Jealousy is probably spot on. Some people think the owner of the care is 'showing off' with it, and so key it to 'put them back in their place'.

Some people are just unable to imagine how their actions affect others (a genuine psychological problem, if I remember right).

But I don't drive a Z or a Mondeo so why would they go for me ?

Glen, did he get you playing that stupid game with the machine that throws the cards at you ? If so then I think you should know it's rigged !

In short.. I don't know, I don't understand it, but it makes me want to break heads..

Sorry to hear about the scratch Dave & Glen, especially to the Mondeo, I mean er Skyline... ;) (and in that lovely colour too :( :( )

Some people are just mindless.. well.. you know the words - I mean a colleage once had the aerial on his car twisted into a knot..

The car? An L reg, base model, Rover 200... Why?! Pissed and just out of the pub, so lets wreck someones aerial...

Because some people have less intelligence than your average carpet (bugs and fluff excluded).

Pack mentality unfortunately. A lot of criminal acts are done by people spurred on because they are in a crowd of like minded feebles.

pre pubescent hormonal little oinks tryin to impress their girlfriends i expect. got loads round ere, i might get me crossbow out.:D seriously though im gonna get cctv on me premises with video activation, that way I KNOW WHO IT WAS HA HA HA!!! and believe me ive got a f uckin evil streak when it comes to my property. sorry to hear about your car bud.

Yep, sorry to hear this!

I can only speculate that a fox or one of me Rotties jumped on the bonnet of mine when it came back from the bodyshop and if I find out who did it???

Written off my Z - you really have a crossbow? What pull weight?

dont know offhand but its a barnett delta storm, gonna get rid though and get a compound with laser sight and bigger pull weight!!!. does anbody know how to make exploding tips :D

Superb! You're the only other person I know that owns a cross bow. :D

Mine's a mediaeval style one which I got 2 years ago along with armour-piercing bolts. :D :D

Is this leading to some kind of undertray/bumper conversion to give your Z twin mounted crossbows that fire out of the intercooler ducts?? :D

armour piercing bolts? ill have some of that! te ones i use get shagged just from firin em in fence posts! as for the undertray conversion, i can feel a scrapheap challenge cummin on:eek:

Now there's a plan.... ;)

"Cut me up, would you?" Fire one....fire two

Mwaahhahahahahahah!! :D

Sorry to hear. I think it's sheer bl**dy jealousy - that what it is. mad guys who just want to provoke anger. It's something that really worries me- after all it's expensive to repair! By the way the best way to repair it is through one of those specialist firms that does dents and scratches.

Smeggers the lot of em - bloody mindless smackwits.

Im for the crossbow treatment, where can I get one... I live up a country lane in a remote part of the world, I could become one of those mad people who shoot Yuppies like what woz in dat film Deliverance wiv the squeeky pigs.

Squeelee little car vandal !

Ask Vijay! ;)
