I'm going to paint my slicktop 300zx it's currently white so not super flashy or special looking slicktops originally where only made white so I don't want to decrease the value of the car so I'm also wondering if it would decrease the value and I'm also wondering what colour I should paint it if I decide to paint it another colour besides white

They did come in other colours, Mines silver and always has been, I'm in a similar boat to you, bored of silver but being a rare car don't want to ruin it, my solution is once our bodyshop is finished with it to have it wrapped, in my case it's going gold us spec gold, but then it can always be returned to original colour later.

 

 

Yeah I'm not a huge fan of wrapping so I don't know what to do, also it has a all original paint job on it but that needs replacing sometime

A fresh coat of a super bright white will make that car stand out. While you're at it, replace the fog lights and align your headlights correctly. The panel alignment down the side looks a little 'off' too.

 

I wouldn't wrap a car. I'm not a fan of the stuff at all. Never looks as glossy or as deep as regular paint.

Have you ever seen a high gloss liquid wrap? Very impressive finish can't tell it isn't paint.

Yes I have, the finish doesn't last either. I'm not impressed with wraps at all. Open the doors and the old colour is there. There's only so much that wrap can cover.

Just saw pearl white no thanks I'm good, I'm also not in a hurry to paint it either
