Hi all,

I bought this subject up when I first bought the car.

I still have this pipe sitting by the battery tray believed to be a old way SE Nissan used to raise the boost.

After trying to find out info on the site I found that generally 1mm mig tips are used each side on the inlet to gain around 15psi of boost. As this one is T'd off to a single pipe I was thinking that I should have a 2mm mig tip in the end of the pipe to run around 15psi?

What do you guys think?

It's about 6mm at the moment.

Thanks Dan.

Be very cautious here, you are quite correct SE did use the bleed of method as you mention, however have found many, many of SE tuned zeds had standard chip still fitted with raised boost but retarded timing to prevent detonation, kind a backward way of getting what seems like more power but not good. Check to see if the map / chip is ok, check the timing and then if all good add the boost jets.

Hi Jeff thanks for the reply.

My ecu is already chipped I checked it a long time back and had it changed again from Noz

So are you saying I need to install 1mm mig tip or can I put a 2mm in that pipe.

Thanks Dan
