Hi just orderd a 2 point rear upper stut bar for the zed it goes across the middle of the back window above the normal position of the rear strut bar. Just wonderd if anyone has this bar and are there threaded holes where they bolt in .don't surpose this is gona tighten anything up much just for looks .being a slicktop too .It's made by a company called ultra racing .

behind the trim panel there is a treaded hole on a LWB. Not sure about a slick top though

Ok thanks I'll have a look wonder what there for originally.

On a LWB I have a feeling it's for the 3 point rear seat belts, mine is a 91 with lap belts and it still has the threads

If its a strut brace it is just held in place by the two damper top bolts (2 per side). Undo damper top bolts, place over the two protruding damper top threads refit damper top bolts. No need for threads on the strut brace.

What have you ordered??

Is it this????..........................http://www.ultraracingshop.com/ultra-racing-nissan-300zx-30-1989-rear-upper-strut-brace-ru21767_p23054621.htm

Yes that's the one thanks part number has UR in front of the higher bar so hope it's correct.IVe asked if it fits Swb does anyone know if there is the threaded holes in a Swb slicktop thanks.

They tell me it fits all z32 range so Swb must have threaded holes too.

Was under the impression their parts only fitted swb models, looked into them a while ago as my mates a distributor, but decided my slicktops is stiff enough
