I can only assume they're not blue if he is swapping.

I just payed for one on ebay now but it did not say if it was swb of lwb how can you tell from each other looks the same

This is the best comparison i can do :S

Neither targa will fit/swap over, I tried them both

The first one with lwb top and the second visa versa, the curvatures are different in the centre bar. The last two are obvious side by side

(silver is swb)

In my honest opinion it does look like a swb from the black line on the glass looks curved similar to the silver one, where the blue lwb is straight.

 

That is unless i've completely f**ed up and labled Keith's targas the wrong way because your pic looks very similar to the one you smashed. I'll edit the post

Yeah from a UK LWB. Technically if it's blue glass then there's a good chance it's from a UK model which only came in LWB. Later models had blue glass so unless it's a really late shortie (maybe 95ish onwards??) that one you've bought should be LWB

Dan, the one you have pictured as buying from eBay, may or may not be blue glass, but regardless of that, it's definitely not a UK targa. I can tell by the size/shape of the black ceramic coating underneath so the glass will not match. The one you have bought will get you out of a hole as you can just paint the coloured section and get the correct one off Baz for the glass to rebuild.

The section I mean is illustrated in this comparison pic between your eBay targa and Baz's UK targa, you can see the forward section of the black ceramic coating is deeper on the UK targa. On the underside is that black plastic bump at the front end that you may recall? JDM targas, regardless of colour don't have that, so the ceramic coating goes further forward. They also have different size shades.

 

still need a lwb blue glass targa top asap the last one fell through please help as car is going to paint anyday now
