I've read Richies threads and I am definitely falling on the Richie side.

However the car looks nice and Ian has seen it in the flesh.

The impartial advice would be see if you can get a forum member to go with you to look at it.

But be damn sure you have asked all the questions before buying it because I suspect it would be tough luck afterwards.

It could well be worth the money, but I think from reading the threads the engine has been changed so the mileage is immediately a question I would ask.

Time clearlY flies. I remember that conversation though. Mainly the millions of horses ;-)
