Cheers and thanks, got my eye on the white n/a that's arriving from gazwoz, so will others I'm sure.

originally wanted a tt but now may settle for a n/a. I'm retired now and it's only for a week end driver, will be parked up most of the time, will see what unfolds,it''ll be a nostalgia buy as it's 15years since my last z32.

Take your time, talk to Gary, he may have more TT's coming down the line, as said, the lads here won't put you wrong if you do see a car you like and some may even give it a look over for you:thumbup1: A lot of Z's come through this forum at some time or another and the guys will be able to give you a general idea, thanks to Andrew's link, that car you put up here had a knocking engine when it was being sold back in 2010.

red baron is my dad i remember when this was sent and was stood there when it was posted and i know that it was in that box obviously you wont believe me but im giving our side to the story aswell, you say that that the packaging should have smelt of fuel, my dad bought them used but was told the hadn't been fitted and before we sold them they had been in the loft for about 4 years and they didnt smell when we put them in the box, admittedly the calliper deal was our fault and have no argument with that, but your parcel was the only one to ever be lost in the post and we also sent stuff to portugal that was never lost, when you contacted us about it we got onto royal mail and they started to investigate they then came back to us with a letter saying that they would not do anything as no complaint had been made at your end, to which we asked you to complain at your end as we told you that they were insured but we had nothing back from you, we didnt stop the contact with you, you did and now 5 years later your bringing it up, my dad sold trevor the vert and i dont believe he had a problem with it or belive he was being ripped off and my dad has given stuff for free most recently ian greenfield with some books for his car, we are not rip of people, as for the car yes it did have a knocking noise and the engine was pulled out and replaced with another one and runs perfectly fine

Not knocking you but i don't think he wants to wait 6 months for Gary's next lot.

My advice would to keep an eye on cars that pop up for sale, don't always rush into things.

Colour me curious here... if this chap's your dad, is there any particular reason why you (as a subscribed member) aren't advertising his car on here for him...?

There've been plenty of threads recently from people wanting to buy. I'm just curious here...

i think eBay would get the bigger audience IMO and I believe once it was recognised it would be taken down.

Why on earth would you think that...??

It's clearly Redbaron guys. Look at the horrific punctuation in the original car sale thread and then compare to the 'paragraph' above.

It's not my dad I have my own car. I did that advert aswell and I admit my punctuation is appalling and not something I am good at

For you to write the part I've highlighted suggests that you are aware that there could be some ill-feeling towards your dad on here... so why might that be if all is whiter than white...?

Genuinely curious here. I've had no dealings with him whatsoever so I have no particular personal interest. I just find it a bit odd that you're a paid up member here, but he isn't... and then "Lisa" signed up earlier today, just to fight his corner...

Sizeable coincidence, in my opinion.

He was banned and so I know there is ill feeling towards him I can't change people's opinions on him but I wanted to give you our side aswell. Lisa is my sister, She looks on the club aswell as she wants to buy one and when saw that she wanted to tell his side aswell

Just saying guys this thread is getting a bit out of hand, Kingsley is trying to look for his own 300zx and the thread is filling up with an argument about a banned member. If you want to continue arguing, do it in PMS is my advice.

He's not banned now - he shows as a Registered User. To the best of my knowledge, he's never been banned in the time I've been a member...

...in fact, I've just gone throught the Ban Log on here (which dates back to 2007) and there's no mention of him being banned. I'm aware, of course, that it might not contain every banned member.

And if your sister wants to buy herself a nice Z32, why doesn't she just buy your old man's car....? :thumbup1:

the same reason I didn't, with all the modifications for a 20 year old it's to much to insure. Standard is a lot cheaper and there's no point lying to the insures as if there is a crash they won't pay out

Take them off and sell them separately then. At least she'd know she's getting a superb car, yes?

Hi James just a few points. Your Dad got into trouble with selling on the club so you are right we would not let him sell again. We have no problem with you or your sister and you did the right thing by not advertising his car in your name. The thread starter has asked about this car and has got an answer so its time to close this thread now. Again I would say there is no bad feeling towards you and your sister and hope you understand why we flagged this sale up as being of interest to members here.

Thread closed.
