Has anyone seen this rear centre section for the tail lights before??

http://page10.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/m157620264

And a red version.....

http://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/214567981

I'll have to comment, i could make these but it'll be a lot of work, messy work at that, the GReddy is just a decal but everything else is there to convert any reverse panel.

Of course then the tails will have to be made the same way to match and there's no guarantee the look will get universal approval .

How much $$$ just like the photo (center only)? Minus the Greddy sticker you can leave that off? Say to match the red it mAy look okay... Photoshop anyone?

That's just it, 'it may look okay' you state, a lot of trouble to go to and it'll need to match your red exactly would it not.

The product on offer as been done incredibly well, has the seller got hold of some clear outer pieces before they were tinted ??

Then the red as been applied and masked very well around the light chambers, no masking would make life much easier or better still use the grey rear part as in the other colour option.

It's also incredibly neat around the edges, where the front is bonded to the rear part, where is all the black sealant ?

The seller also has some others on offer, red and blue lenses, etc, not sure on some of it's practicality but it all looks well executed.

I took the plunge today and stuck a bid on an item - http://page9.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/k210266847 - unfortunately I didn't win. ~€360 for such rare parts is a fair price, but not worth it since I only want the radio bezel.

I used a service called Japamart to bid. Seems pretty good - it supports sniping too.

Hey was that Hydrodip or real carbon fiber? What was the bid on that item? I was lazy I didn't currency compare

Doubt it's real carbon fiber. They're not that light.

I have an extra Hydrodip carbon radio bezel that another forum member is to buy but if it's not bought by Friday I'm selling it. I'll send you pics if you're interested and I have a few other rhd carbon pieces I'm selling to if he does not purchase.

Would need to be genuine for me though as the pattern is a bit unusual and difficult to match. I might try repairing the one I have if I can find any radio bezel with a perfect back.

That seems like it ended really high compared to what I typically see those go for. It might be due to the fact that the door panel trim was included. Also important to keep in mind there is a 97/98 pattern and a 99/00 pattern. That was the 99/00, which in my opinion is much nicer looking. I think I paid just under 10,000 yen for my 99/00 center console bezel. They are just hydrographed from the factory.

is there a way some one could set something up so we can buy parts from japan easy ?

I second this!!!

I've never tried tbh but from reading about it briefly (http://justhungry.com/buyee-jp-new-japanese-buying-and-auction-bidding-service-ordering-products-japan) It seems you can just click the "Overseas Customers" button which takes you to the buyee website where you can bid (supposedly). Buyee will take 10% commission and then use Tenso to ship outside Japan (somehow) and pay the shipping fee.

It would be useful if someone spots something small that they fancy and take the plunge to share experience on the ins and outs of the process :)

I've tried Japamart. Seems good though I haven't won anything yet.

I just looked into buying the knob but seller had 1 negative feedback out of 10 positive and the system wouldn't allow overseas buyers to bid.

That's a cool safety system but it should allow you to override it if you choose to move forward in a purchase!!! I don't like feeling like I'm being controlled!!!!!!!!
