Looking for an idiot-proof guide to removing/adjusting the boot lock as the key won't turn in it most of the time. This guide isn't doing me much good without the pictures.

 

Releases fine by lever.

You unscrew the plastic screws, and then undo two 10mm bolts at the bottom and take out that plastic part. then you can see 3 10mm bolts which once you undo will make the lock loose, you have to unhook the wire key release thing and then you can take it out. but you will have to also release the cable once you have it out.

Its fairly self explanatory when you get the plastic cover off, but i dont know how to adjust it, maybe just check the wire thing it connected properly?

Thanks that should do me. Went out to remove it earlier but it got dark very quickly.

WD40 cures a lot of problems. Lock has seen very little use with owners using the internal opening leaver. :)
