I need some help, it's winter time and I love driving my 300ZX TT, but not without a working heather!

It blows in low & high, but where is the warmth? ( I have it on maximum heat, but nothing :( )

Does anyone has an idea what it can be?

The thermostat could be stuck on open or closed or the heater core could be full of goop and needs flushing out

Most likely your thermostat is stuck open. Needs replacing

Push the auto button on & push the Econ button on & turn temp up to 40!

Take it for a drive!

That takes out the air con I believe!

Worth a try?

Thanks for the quick reponses!!

The engine temp is perfect, it's in the middle where it should be.

The auto button & Econ button are not working, atleast the lights don't go on.

( I already turned on the temp up to 40, but no heat is coming )

Will check out the thermostat first to start with, hopelly that's what the problem is.

Will let you know!

First check if the heater has been bypassed...very simple: at the back of the engine you (should) see 2 hoses go into the bulkhead:

bulkhead side:

(rear of) engine side:

if you don't see these 2 hoses and the 2 pipes at the back of the engine are looped together with a single piece of hose, then it has been bypassed.

Thanks for the explanation!

Mine isn't bypassed, everything is connected like it should be.

Check your radiator water level and inside pasanger foot well, high up the back (carpet/bulk head area) toward the centre console for any sign of water bud. Your matrix may have give up the ghost.

Problem not solved yet, the radiator level is good and there is no water at the passengers side. :(

Then there's gotta be something wrong with your heater controls. You mentioned the auto and econ buttons didn't work. That might be the cause.

Try and see if you can't get someone to swap the pod with you to see if that does it.

If not then the issue might be something on the heater itself, like the valve that controls the hot water to the heater matrix or the control of said valve.
