So, £5000, am I dreaming or is it possible? :)

I'm back in a position, again, for a zed (until something else catches my eye and eats my money)

Just wondering if it's a realistic expectation to find a nice one within my budget?

Sell me your tidy z :)

Mark

It's not unreasonable - it's finding one that will be the hard part as there are few out there in what I'd consider 'excellent unmolested condition'.

Something dodgy about that particular car. It's been for sale for about 8 months.... I note that the sill returns are completely crumpled almost the entire length of the car and they're rusty. I personally would avoid it.

Have you still not bought a car, Mark...?!

There are a few out there at the moment. Whether you'd find one that was 100% "rust free" is another matter entirely...

yes the sill looks a bit rusty. but am sure one will turn up for 5k that's a good price to find a nice z

It is, but finding one is really not easy.

Perhaps I'm asking too much out of a zed :D

Oh, it must be a LWB... those shorties look 'funny' :D

If you can stretch your budget a little, there's a very clean red UK car on Autotrader at the moment.

theres been plenty for sale on here on the last year, that's were pretty nice

Standard unmolested good condition rust-free examples? I don't think there's been 'plenty' at all. The only really nice ones I've seen were the 2 that GazWoz brought over. That's about it.

Now that's what I'm talking about! :)

On the face of it that one looks ok, however it seems that has been up on a 2-poster a fair few times! Look at the sills

-Edit.... Just read that has already been covered!

At least that way you know it's been having some attention!

yip and I bought one of them for just over £5k.

If you have time hold out until his others arrive in the UK, i'm sure it wont be too long.

Lee is right mate, I really would speak with Gazwoz, Jaikai and I both have brought cars recently from Garry and I am really happy with mine, it's immaculate. Garry has some on the water I understand, so not too long to wait. Good Luck with the search, there will be one out there.

Now this is going to sound picky...

I'm not fussed on the colour or auto box...BUT it is a very nice car and something I'll consider... think that rust patch will be a problem to sort?

It's solid metal behind it mate just a little scab. It's one of the cleanest I've seen.

i am in custody of a new import 300zx with 30k on the clock, its blue and an automatic, rust free and the mileage has been checked by Jevic in Japan. The owner may want more than your budget but it needs seeing to believe it,the cigar lighter is as new and un used !!

Hi, I phoned thru seller of the the red tt priced at £6000 the car has been welded, how much or how well would need to be checked, asked about paper work etc for BHP claim of 400bhp but it has mysteriously gone missing. It was bought 9weeks ago and sold back to the trader as the buyers wife didn't like it, so the story goes, too many doubts in my mind as I was interested. Seemingly it was understated 5-6 years ago, wonder what that's hiding. Perhaps some one else here could phone and see if you get same descriptions.
