Anyone have any good or bad experiences with 300zx turbo rebuilds, am after two builds on my smoky units.

I've used Turbo Dynamics for a pair of 300 tubs. Very good service, they kept me informed of all issues that they found during the strip phase and asked my approval to carry out repair before commencing. A while ago now but iirc cost around £600.

 

In my Ford days I used Turbo Developments, another reputable company. I have had only good experiences with both of these companies other than the cost lol.

Yeah, Essex Turbos also had a good reputation. In my YB turbo days and whilst living in sunny Essex I knew a few Cossie owners who used them.

I had an Orion 1600E with a series 1 turbo fitted and switched high/low boost, 5th injector on full throttle...... was very quick and gave me years of fun down Southend seafront cruising......lol

Oooh, might I've seen you down Southend cruising although it was a few years ago now. I started going down the strip back in the early 90's, first in my vw beetle then my RS 2000 and later in my RS 500. With 01702 after your forum name you must be a local!:clap:

I've used turbo dynamics. 700£ turbos lasted 3 years. Waste of money

I've heard good things about Midland Turbos and if you join the extreme bhp Facebook page they offer discount.
