In the middle of a timing belt service and there appears to have been no keyway on the crankshaft pulley from a previous service.. Can anyone recommend where I can get one? Looked on all the z websites and been local auto dealers and no luck. I've messaged a few breakers on ebay too but I think they just don't want to sell me such a small component..

Nissan do sell them quite cheaply, chances are it dropped out as without a key the pulley would spin even with a tight bottom bolt, check in the under the car in the pulley its self to see if its jammed in the key-way, as usually water has been dropped out when doing the job did you have a a bowl or similar underneath it? it maybe in there.

My buddy had the same issue with a missing woodruff key here in South Africa and the local nissan agent did not stock one for a 300zx but said the 350z woodruff key was the same...so he bought it and fitted perfectly..... was cheap as well.

Thanks for the help both. Very appreciated. I'll get a 350z one from the dealer. :D
