hello all ,tyres and sizes on rear of my z are 225/55/ R16 v95 is this the biggest size that will fit on standard alloys if not ,will 225/60/R16v95 :)

Why would you want to raise the profile of your tyres?

 

225/55 gives you a wall height of: 123.75mm

 

whereas, 225/60 gives 135mm

 

I think that the UK rear rims will take a 245 tyre, as they are an inch wider.

HELLO TIM I HAD 3 VERY GOOD TYRES GIVEN TO ME TODAY IN WORK BY KIND BOSS BUT THEY R 225/60 R16 SO I WAS WONDERING IF THEY WOULD HAVE FITTED . WOULD RAISING THE PROFILE AFFECT THE CAR MUCH IF TWO WERE FITTED ON REAR AND LEAVE THE FRONT.:)
