Chaps bought a head unit for my import.

 

Be buggered if i can get the metal case to fit in any of the two holes.

 

Any one had this problem and found a way round?

 

Need some way to fix it in?

Metal case? You mean the radio cage? If so you screw the Z metal plates straight onto the radio. Dont use the radio cage.

Hmm, I'm about to install a head unit myself. So, with the 300 there's a different way of installing the unit? Should there be screw-holes in the side of my new unit? :S

just done this myself and yes there will probably be lots of holes in the side of your head unit, just mach the ones that fit the zeds bracket and all will be fine, apart ftom the little surrond that fits on the front of the unit will probably not fit!
