So, my Zed is going in for a respray early next year. I still want it red, maybe a little more of a vibrant shade but the thing I can't decide on is whether to have the moustache sprayed black/dark grey or whether to leave it off as it already is.

Any preferance guys?

Take your inspiration from the front of Joely P z

I do think that Joely P's looks amazing from the front. (in fact every angle tbh!) I am also getting the roof pillars done in black as I think it flows nicer.

What shade is best though, gloss black or a dark grey?

hmmmm.... I have got a bit of time to think about it anyway. Booked in early March so it should be looking pretty fresh next summer....... Can't wait to get along to some of the earlier shows as I missed out on some good ones this year.

Got my replica 89 fibreglass spoiler ordered aswell:)

Interesting that they went from grey to body-coloured, then with the facelift front bumper the light surrounds go back to grey.

Mine is dark grey, to be specific it is Toyota 1G3 magnetic grey metallic. Funkysi deserves the credit for the colour as it was his choice that I mirrored [emoji106]

Personally, I don't like the moustache painted gloss black as I think it has too much contrast, but I feel the dark grey flows nicer than the OEM grey. Also not a fan of the '89 style bumper without the moustache painted, with the exception of black or grey cars! It's quite difficult to capture the colour as, like many colours, it tends to vary depending on the lighting. Here's some piccies for reference [emoji106]

I also have my wing mirror bases painted the same colour and intended on painting my TwinZ diffuser the same colour (before I decided I didn't like it and sold it!). My roof bars are painted gloss black.

Thanks JP, I think I do like the dark grey metallic, its not too bold like black could be. Def think I'll go with a moustache... it just looks right.

Either way is good but the white number plate spoils the whole front anyway.

Got no choice on that though :(

Mine's gloss black, like my roof bars and mirror bases, and I prefer it to any other colour or shade on there :)
