So further to a good few of you asking I have managed to get an allocation of 14 keys for the group buy.

These are the only keys I can get my hands on as its all the stock that's left so if you want a lovely titanium replica key for your zed this is the one.

These are the same ones as supplied to CPZ and Z1 but at a lower price of £20 each shipped to me, there will be the additional cost of recorded delivery to yourself but check for yourself its a great price.

I'm back on my feet and driving again, the pain in my knee has completely gone so I'm very happy about that I just have to rehab the knee so I can get back to walking normally instead of limping everywhere. Time to get some swimming done

When I dislocated my shoulder last year they told me once I had better movement and less pain then swimming would be the best thing to get my muscles working properly again and back to their original shape (they were severely stretched)

I'm the oposite because of me limping my tendons have tightened and the muscles around the knee are weak so got some work to do. Plus I have a massive Dive trip booked at the end of March so got to get as sorted as I can by then.

You can get cheap replicas if you're stuck, although I had a bit of trouble getting it cut correctly.

The keys in the group buy are made by the same guy that supplies the ones cpz and Z1 sell. I have not had any issues with them bending either.

No not two blanks, they are the keys that came with both my cars. Martin implied the one i got from him is genuine ('titanium key, quite hard to find nowadays') but i don't want to call him out as he wouldn't know.

 

IMO replica and genuine keys make no difference, they are both titanium and both the right key so who cares.

I bought a full set of locks with the titanium key. Swapped them all over and that's what you had.

The key looked right and the right age and worked smoothly with all the barrels so I am as confident as I can be that it is the real deal.

A breaker would have to go to a lot of trouble to source a titanium blank to cut I reckon.

As I said before I wasn't doubting you and I really wouldn't notice the difference if it was replica. Thanks for confirming anyway, it was probably my fat fingers not noticing the push to release key button on the barrel that bent it in the first place :wacko:

It does work smoothly but I got a steel one cut to use on a day to day to not break my only titanium key.
