Does anyone know how SLICKTOP has his impul lenses tinted black like:

I have access to a laser cutter so if i could buy tinted acrylic then i could cut that to shape, otherwise i thought about 5% window tints to cover it, or spray it with niteshades but i don't think it would look that good.

 

Any ideas?

You can probably get tinted plexi-glass, either that or there's a tinting spray you can use on the inside.

I don't have a job so i can't really pay for subscription here so i cant PM him, and he hasn't been active since July.

 

I thought about the spray tinting but it usually doesn't give a deep black colour and when the light shines through it can be uneven.

You can buy smoked black cast acrylic and laser cut it (if your machine is big enough) then you will have to heat and bend it into the right shape/curve.

Think if I remember right he sprayed them as I ask a while ago as I want some for mine as there very rare too get hold off

They are so rare i cant even find records of any sold anywhere so i don't know what they are worth, but i can tell you its quite alot. I believe there are 3 known Impul 300zx's in the UK but there may be some which are not on the internet in sheds etc.

Iv got that kit now a club member got it from that breaker then I bought from them
