15mm Hubcentric Spacers Swap 4 My 25mm Driftworks Ones Please.

I have my rears totally flush with the arch and very pleasing on the eye imo.

Having someone mention about my fronts sticking out too much this planted a seed !!

I put a spirit level on and I have concluded I need 15mm hubcentrics as they stick out 10mm.

I offer a Driftworks pair of 25mm ones in a possible exchange, these were £100 as I have the receipt in my service record and are still £100 on their website today.

Straight swap or I just buy your quality 15mm ones please, thank you.

I may consider this as I have a set of 15mm ebbicach ones. Which I don't think have enough poke really. What brand are yours?

Oh driftworks

I need to have a look and see how that extra 10mm will leave the wheel. I might push it too far. Il have a look tomorrow

If Stephen doesn't want to get rid of his then I have a set of 15mm hubcentric spacers. Not any particular brand, but could part with them for £35. Best regards, W

Of course I'll wait for Stephen and hope my 25mm will do for him.

Mine are quality and have served me very well and would continue to do so.

Think the cheapest on ebay for unbranded is as low as £39.00, I have considered a mid range but again unbranded for around £70, that's the problem as not sure if these differ at all from the £39 ones.

Thank you.

Yeah 25mm will suit me.

Are yours bolt on or slip on? These ones I have are bolt on which I'm keen to retain. You should check your wheel face as well because only Somme wheels can fit these spacers in 15mm due to the protrusion of the stud from the spacer face.

If we do have a deal I won't be able to post till next Monday, ie not this one coming as I'm working in Spain next week.

I'll do some Bob asap.

Further update, received today from Stephen the 15mm ones, very happy - maybe I fit tomorrow.

When I took my 25mm ones off I notice a spigot ring was cracked so I got a set of four delivered, inside diameter of 66.1mm with a wheel bore for my Work wheels of 73.1mm :cool3:.

My last and final update, spigot rings offered in and what a perfect fit :thumbup1:.

Think now I have them spaced out perfectly, I would love to drop the front but then I wouldn't clear a single blasted speed hump .

Only took me almost 6 years to go from 25mm spacers to 15mm ones on the front, happy now .

Just drop it mate. You can always bring it back up. Another 10/15mm lower on the front you won't even notice it. I've not got a big enough gap to get a finger in on mine.

I will drop it Stephen as from this pic from the ground to the arch it's 650mm, on the rear this measurement is 630mm, so a near to 20mm drop is my remit and should look a million times better imo :).

Well today I did manage to drop the fronts roughly 20mm and I think it's getting there, methinks I can go that little cheeky bit more, say 10mm .

Initially today I lowered the fronts quite a lot and the r/h rear, that one by roughly 10mm as I noticed it was this higher than the l/h rear, rears now spot on.

I then went for a little drive and seeing as there are at least 10 speed humps to negotiate, it was soon apparent it was too low as the only way to get over them was to creep, it even was catching on the odd undulation. It's a shame I have been governed by traffic calming measures and the bad state of our roads.

So back on the drive and I know it was much lower as I struggling getting the trolley jack under, anyway I lifted both fronts roughly 5mm and it's surprising how this small rise as made the difference, much happier/better. Of course I have to be careful but I think I've found the happy medium.

Very content with my stance now and thanks again Stephen for the exchange enabling me to go in on the front by 10mm :thumbup1:.

That's ok bud. I just to balance mine out at the back now. Speed bumps suck, pot hots suck and horsepoo is shit

Good to hear you've manage to sort the front Andy, and just to mention, I still haven't received my flippin C spanners!!!
