That car's been checked by at least one of our members in recent months and found to be nothing like it's described as!

There was never a Nismo variant of the Z32, so he's chatting crap there straight away. Apparently the whole car is nowhere near as clean as it looks in the pictures and the owner/seller was proudly displaying loads of tyremarks on the road outside his house, so you know it's been ragged to the Moon and back.

Walk. Away...!!

I wondered when this thing would rear it's ugly head again.

To coin a phrase

Just say No!

I went to look and I can see the original thread has been linked to this one by Mondo.

It is a dog.

I fell in love with the car in the pictures which sadly is a distant memory from the car it is now.

I think I counted 11 lies in the original advert. It was up for £7500 on eBay and I was prepared to get close if it was what it said it was.

If it gets through a real MOT I'll be surprised.

I reckon it's a parts car now.

Highlights are

CAT D

Over fuelling

Misfire

Dodgy 4th Gear

Knackered Alloys

Rusty sills

Bodged bumper repair

Very little paperwork

Lying owner

If you want anymore give me a shout

The thing is that someone not on the forum is going to get it or as said its broken up?

Well I am going to admit, that is a shame, I've previously had an RX8 which while it's a lovely car it's just not got enough power, I also considered an RX7 which was considerably more expensive but can still provide around 600BHP which is what I'm looking for.

I viewed an RX7 which I know more about and it was similar to what everyone here said about this car. Someone will end up buying it and get burnt.

Thanks for your help with this, I know I dodged a bullet but it still makes me sad :(

I just don't understand how anyone can advertise a car as being as heavily modified as this without having the paperwork to back it up!

The guy claims it's a 550bhp monster, yet only has a dyno sheet for just over 400... surely any prospective buyer is going to be a little put off by that?

When I bought my first Zed, the seller said it was considerably quicker than his 500bhp Evo. No paperwork to confirm power though. A test drive confirmed it was quick, but not 500 horses quick.

For me, what makes the car in question a proper question mark is the fact that the ad specifically states that there are receipts for vast amounts of money, but they don't actually exist. Can't stand things like that, personally....

Well the other thing is if you're looking to buy a car which is 20 years old you need to be making sure you know what you're doing.

I don't, hence why I came here to check :-)

You went, you saw, you laughed I think the quote was.

I'm checking the owners club for sale section now, I'm not going to both is Shizton heads. Most the cars there seem to be ragged.

I'm tired, or tyred, whichever way

There is a member on here that is importing superb quality Z's from Japan...... They have had a few stunning examples already......

Watching my Z disintegrate on my driveway!!!

That motor has been for sale a long while, might be a sign, maybe I'm wrong but could always be right ;)
