Hi gents

I have some rust bubbling up on the OS rear arch, as well as 2 small blemishes at the base of the rear window.

They're not terrible just yet but they do bug me and obviously don't want it to get out of hand.

Does anyone in the Kent area have recommendations for a good/fair priced panel repair shop?

I would look for a new boot lid, unless you have it cut out and a new section welded in it will just return, any body shop worth it's salt would be able to sort the arch. If you take the interior boot panels out you will be able to see just how bad it is if you shine a torch in between the arch and outer skin.

Thanks for the reply. I'll do the torch trick this week then...fingers crossed it's not too bad.

Appreciate most bodyshops should be able to sort the arch, just wondered if anyone had any recommendations.

Don't know much about your area but seeing what work Allan and Daz (Bodymech) has done could you not trailer/drive it over to them for a while?? Did you see all the metal work on Mark Derby's car? Dasstech is another metal guru, he did Danny's (Gibster's) metal widearch.

Kent is a big area itself!

Autobrite Folkestone have a good rep also there use to be an auto repairs Chilham side of Canterbury also had good reviews.

Normal bodyshops close to u would not be hard to source. check out how lond they have been in action, bad ones dont trade that long!

Yeah I suppose Kent as a whole is not quite local, just wanted to see if on the off chance anyone would recommend somebody within 20 or so miles from me. I have however had a bodyshop recommended to me by a guy at work, and that's within 2 miles of me. So will be popping over this week for a quote. :)

Fantastic, it was actually crash corrections that was recommended to me today at work so that's reassuring. However Minster is closet still! Lol. Will run it in there for a rough price this week then :)
