Ahhhhh Exhaust manifold leak, Local zed garage? London based?

Ok soooooo I have an exhaust leak from either the downpipe or god forbid the manifolds ahhhhhh it gets quieter as the engine heats up due to expansion and physics stuff. I've ordered some smoke pellets, going to smoke the exhaust system and see where it comes out of, although almost impossible to see from under the bonnet anyway.

So any decent garages in London who have the ability to remove the engine if need be?

Thanks in advance.

If passengers side you can remove manifold with engine in drivers side a bit more complicated

:( nope :( drivers side.

Got same problem on my white zed. Plus I think I just burst a tube coolant line so looks like a trip to Mr Dent's is on the cards.

Jeff replaced the drivers side manifold gasket on my old zed with the engine in place. He did a write up of it.

It is hard to do, but I managed to remove the drivers side turbo on mine in the car a few years ago...... But it was very hard going....... Better to get someone who knows their Z's to do it......

Watching my Z disintegrate on my driveway!!!

Hmmm maybe il try it doesn't matter how long it takes really.

Did you manage to organize picking up the exhaust?

It's not that bad, remove master cylinder, steering column, the work shop manual tells you what to remove and doesn't mention removing the engine...

Work shop manual is way too wrong. I just replaced my turbos without removing brake master cylinder

HAHAHAAHAA Abbey Motorsport just quoted me £1200 to replace manifold gasket.... Had enough now. I don't really wanna pay £1200 for a frigging gasket. Cars only done a few thousand miles on these bloody manifolds anyway.....

Either drive it or get it trailored to either Lee Dent or Powerzed, im sure they can do it for way less than that. Well I hope so coz Lee's doing both of mine as we speak !!!!!!
