Hi guys I'm having trouble fitting the diff support which bolts to the subframe it's a na diff and subframe is going in a slicktop . The holes don't line up it has energy suspension bushes in both the diff and rear diff mounts . Also cant work out where these rubber cup type washers go . I took it apart ages ago and forgot where everything goes the diff support has FR and a arrow on it I'm confused with this too any help please . Thanks Taff .

i did mine and it was a **** to get it to line up was fighting with it for ages, am juist looking throw my pics to see were them big washers go am sure is the front of the diff were the input is

am sure thay go here if i remember and you cut the rubber bit of teh washer am sure that was it SDC12369.jpg

Do you still need those with the poly mounts? I have solids and it does away with those. Stuff like that is often a bit of a pain to line up, if you've ever refitted a gearbox mount you will know what I mean. Good luck reinstalling it, it's great fun.

I'm beginning to think these rubber washer things don't get used with these bushes support sits too high.

you have to remover the rubber bit of the washer first so you end up with just the washer !

and you have them in the wrong place look at the pics i put up of mine

cut or burn the rubber of the washer and move POINT A TO POINT B, with the cup side pushing on the red rubber bush image.jpg

There's a how to by a guy called rockchucker. It's the most comprehensive one I've seen and will help you.

It's a bloody long thread, but it has a feck load of pics you can reference and also exactly what to do with the diff mount washers. I hope it helps.
