Hi Folks

 

Just got back from terminal velocity at Woodbridge where I have suffered a bit of :thumbdown:

 

We took off well (bit of burning clutch smell)

140 in fourth change up nothing left, would not go so took my foot off the gas coasted through the line at 80.

Now running on 5 cylinders.

Limped home and put to bed in the garage.

 

Any thoughts on what I have broken this time with my lead foot?

Quick recap for those who can't be bothered to scroll back.

My shorties engine is toast, not too much of an issue for me as I have another but Shanksjacks was going to have it (if it was good!) so he's a bit stuffed now.

Just wondered if anyone out may have a working TT engine they might be prepared to part with.

 

Sorry Mods if I should be placing a wanted ad but I am just asking on behalf of Steve at this stage.

to say this one has been a pig is an understatement.

oil in water first time. strip down and rebuild .100 miles later get water in no6 and snap a rod.

another rebuild and back to oil in water.

so the story goes...

hell raiser im interested for sure. and as martin says we sure have enough bits to hang on it..

give me a number and when i get up i will call you.

i need this car driving. as it makes one hell of a large ornament..
