What should i be prepaired to pay for a good strong manaul tt engine and box.on its own or a rotton old uk car but with a strong e gine and box,

Say what 1500 quid for the car and about 600 to 800 for strong engine and box or am i way of the mark.must be a manaul and tt.

    Most people sell gearboxes as manual conversions kits these days. Anyway here from £350 upwards, and most more around £400-£500 from memory. Similar prices for a stock TT engine.

    Do not, buy a used Z engine off the bay for £800 expecting a better engine. I had a bad experience with that. I paid 250 for my latest engine from Lee dent.

    Are you 100% set on using a vg30dett, it's a great engine but better options exist for an S30 chassis.
