Really starting to bother me, there's this periodic "clicking" noise from the interior fan. It seems to vary in noise, location and frequency based on the setting, but is unrelated to the AC itself.

I plan to replace the bulbs in the instrument panel soon so is there anything I should check?

If the clicking sounds like its coming from the passenger side foot well its most likely the relays, im having the same issue with Zebedee.

I haven't got round to it yet but the driver side carpet is damp suggesting the targa drain has come loose and is putting water onto the main fuse box behind the drivers side kick panel. ATM I have no fan control so no blower and no control over the heat setting, (its on full heat) when I operate the blower speed switch I just get clicking from the relays. Ive got to remove the fusebox and repair the drain tube then clean all the plugs and connections , just aint got to it yet.

Do you have auto or manual aircon controls? On the manual ones the contacts on the back of the fan speed slider can get dirty and cause exactly this problem. Drove me mental for weeks trying to work out where it was coming from, then it was a really easy fix!

I have the manual control and have tried 2 other known good units with no difference so all fingers point to the fuse box. Have had the N'S kick panel off and checked all the relays and fan connections.

Followed this guide today, but the circuit board and its electrical contacts look perfect. The clicking comes from all over the dash so it's not any clearer.

Also, the circuit board is different to the one in that thread.

Try the old classic and check there is no dry leaves in the motor unit box...iff they get in there then they rub against the fan vanes;)

got a issue with my heater blowers not working as well and pretty sure its the relay behind fuse box think i did come across a how to on here some time ago.
