Can someone tell me what is the "inner wing" , is it the plastic surround that covers the wheel arch? or am I just stoopid.

The inner wing is the inner wing, it isn't an arch liner.

Basically, the metal panel work behind that. On the rear arch, the inner wing is the actual wheel well panel that is spot welded to the wheel arch lip. The fronts don't really have an 'inner wing' as such, but the structural panel work behind and the sheet steel wheel well is considered the inner wing.

That's the word I've been staggering around for in the dark...

Cheers Simon, if I could have remembered the word "arch liner" I wouldn't have posted... but thanks anyway, some more little bits of info for the brain,

Rich
