Once again; and another and another non-stop brutal killing Terrorist attack toward innocent occidental people; in the name of these son of a bit*** and their culture and religion; I can´t express with words what I feel right now for all these poor vitims british..beligium..whoever. my question when the **** is all this going to stop? when will all strong Goverments finally gathered together and put a stop to these mothafu***s when?

I was in Egypt in March with the other half and on our return we talked about going to Tunisia next year, then the first attack on the museum happened which quickly changed our minds, then we thought it was a targeted area within the capital, until this happened, so after Egypt twice and Turkey in the last year, we are giving all muslim countries a miss and going to the canaries in a couple of months.

 

Im sure many of us have our views, there is always a bigger picture, but i agree, this has to be stopped...now

We have peace in Europe and have had for some years now, as close as you will ever get anyway. That took a horrific period of history not once but multiple times to achieve. These people, not a nation or faith, just people wish to appose our way and have us follow thier old world ways. Sadly there isn't one nation to defeat or war to win it's about ideas and principals. Sadly I don't think the end is in sight, not yet. It will take a unified developed world, I'm including Russia etc to burry their own prickles with each other and help that whole part of the world to achieve peace and more importantly stability.

This is a war make no mistake, it's just a very complex one. Currently I don't think we are prepared to accept this fact and do something properly. We are looking at it like an option which can be dropped if the budget doesn't allow for it. The one this that must stop and stop now is the media frensy, these people use propoganda and horror as thier primary weapon. Publishing photos, footage etc is actually spreading their aim, we are facilitating them. By all means documentation is required to show what's going on but it needs to be done with care. Showing footage of people being beheaded on national television is not useful is media shit and it must stop.

 

Those are my opinions anyway. I think we are all going to have to change our way of thinking about the world and this issue. It's not something that's going to fade away if left alone or be over in a few short years.

On the subject of Muslims, keep in mind that nothing compares to the atrocities committed by Christians... They're just a lot more passive in it these days.

I agree with Stephens comments, I was very unimpressed with Sky news yesterday. As is always the way with 24hr news there was time to fill but nothing to say, they had a woman on the phone who had heard a bang. That was it. They went round and round, putting words in her mouth and asking "Were people shot on their sunbeds?"

 

I thought, "You'd f***ing love that Sky wouldn't you, there is your headline, shot on sunbeds." I was really annoyed. These articles need coverage, but exactly as Steve said, videos, mugshots and "shot on sunbeds" is not the right way. Turning these terrorists into villains or worse poster boys for the next string of crack-pots.

No we should be able to live anywhere in the world and live in peace. my Grandad was from Japan and lived in England and my Father is from Scotland. If I wanted to live in England should I be stopped from doing so.

I think it's best to call them religious extremists. They don't represent the Islamic faiths core values just as those who comitted Christian atrosities did not represent that faith. There is not a war fought that hasn't used religion as some form of excuse to make man do horrific things to others. It's in our genetic make up to strive for power and possession and some will do anything to get that, war is where our darkest and most sadistic sides come out it's also important to remember it's where humanity can show just how brave and kind they can be. It's inevitable but it's always the innocent who pay the biggest price.

You do realise that it wasn't that long ago that in the grand scheme of things man left Africa and colonised the world right? That genetically it's virtually impossible to tell wether your French, English, German etc because the vast majourity is all the same. You can hide under a rock all you like but unfortunately someone somewhen will want what you've got and come and bother you, that's life. If we all stayed in our countries all the time, it would just decent into tribal warfare instead. The only thing that stops infighting is a bigger issue. You want world peace pray for aliens, seriously, pray for aliens then they will play nice quick enough.

It's a very seperate topic. However I agree that there is too much unskilled labour migration. It's fantastic that we are able offer asylum to those that genuinely need it. We do NEED skilled migrants though to provide doctors etc that we simply have a shortage of. It's not that we need to stop imaragation it's that we need to control it better to get the right people not just all comers.

thats ok but people are now milking it and taking the piss if it carrys on we will regret in 10 or 20 years time for sure we have a great place to live here in the uk. we need better training for the people that are live here not bringing more in to replace them, thats just a fix but is a bad idea in the long run
