Some pics from a great day out at the Trentham Carshow today

Lots of nice Zeds on the stand today - nice turnout guys, thanks for your support today

The stand looked really good and as always at this show our presences caused a great deal of interest

Here's a few pics I grabbed on my phone

As always the Trentham show was very well attended and there were some genuine rarities and real exotica on show today. Here are a few that caught my eye.........

Interestingly enough my earliest memories of seeing customised cars as a kid was the Ford Anglia - and it seems like folks are still doing exactly that

Hope you enjoyed

Hi Rich, why was the BMW I8 causing a stir???

Cos Essex may have quite a quite few doing the school runs etc but such a thing has never been seen in Stoke before because we are all poor northerners and anyone who comes into any money swiftly moves to anywhere else that it does not rain most of the time (that includes most other places) lol

But today we only got a few mins of rain - rest was great weather for a car show:wink:

I'm sure there are plenty more great pics from today if anyone else would like to oblige

Cheers

Rich

Ah.... that explains it..... lol.... I have 3 of these at work and I must admit I love being asked to move them about the sites.......... lol

Watching my Z disintegrate on my driveway!!!

Nice pics bud, do you have anything of the 300 between the red one and L300 SXY?

Looks like it was a great show guys... gutted I didn't quite make it although the convoy did look good when it passed me while I was on tow by the AA lol!

Rich... do I owe you anything for the ticket? If you send me your paypal address I can send over what I owe you.

Loving every one of those Zeds btw, they really stood out amongst all the other classic cars.... hopefully, I'll get along in mine to another show soon. Its back in Lee's capable hands now and sounds like it needs a new engine:(

@coopd

Hi mate - yeah was nice to see your car briefly (but not on the back of an AA truck!!)

Your ticket was £3.50 you can paypal me if you like but I wouldn't worry too much about it...... no doubt you will make it to some other show

Also I know Keith was taking some good closeups on the Ford Anglia on his DSLR so may be able to post them

Here are a few more I have....

Sorry you never made it Dave:( would of been nice to catch up and see your car,but we did feel bad when we all went passed and noticed your car on the truck:(,how come you where there?and what was the problem?

The AA van wanted to take us to some random garage in Stoke so I paid him extra to take us to Lee Dents... It was just the route he took, we were literally right near the entrance to the show (it was like rubbing salt in the wounds lol) but all the cars looked good and really looking forward to being part of the next one!

Lee was brilliant though, I rang him early morning and he got down to the garage on a Sunday with Callum, made us a brew and looked over the car. He thinks the head gasket blew but he was going to take a better look in the next couple of days. When the AA guy came about 45 mins after we broke down and with the bonnet being wide open during this time, he recorded the engine temp at 120 degrees! There was quite a lot of smoke too! :(

Think its going to be a new engine as this will most likely be a bit more affordable than a full strip down and rebuild :(
