How many people live in kent or nearby which could attend a monthly meet? Or does one already occur?

If not who would like that to be on the books.

I attend an mr2 meet mmonthly and discussions with them may see a joined monthly meet so a good numbee of people attend?

It's at our bodyshop tomorrow, they've got a month then off to jimmers in June, but it'll be with him for a few weeks so probably won't be done in time, more keen to have it ready for Coventry...

That reminds me, its going to the bodyshop meaning its getting painted... Is gold still the plan?

Not short tern, unfortunately with sending it to jimmer sooner then intended, and hearing a few horror stories about the liquid wrap I was getting it's staying silver for now, the bodyshop have got to sort the rust out, and fit the new skirts bumper, diffuser etc.

 

 

May still change its colour over the winter will see what it looks like when they're finished.

Oh cool, I'll be painting mine in the summer. Not expecting a show quality first time but it'll get good eventually.

 

TBH painting it myself gives me a lot more flexibility with design. Let me know if you want any design work, keeps me busy in the evenings lol (open offer).

Alic suggested I pop this here. When I looked I saw talk of a monthly meet in the Kent/Sussex area.... I haven't read the entire thread yet but I'd like to offer up my pub as a meeting point. Nice country pub, good food and ale and a decent size car park. I'm in the High Weald Area of outstanding natural beauty, the pub is called the White Horse Inn. If anyone is interested then let me know.

Yep, when i went to buy one was the first time i saw one in the flesh :sad: and never heard of it before then.

 

Everyone I've met are really nice guys anyhow. The next one scheduled is Sunday 26th June, but if you want to make an offer to do another one at another time, though I won't be able to attend before then as exams :(

I'm happy to host anytime, Sundays are difficult for me to travel though as I usually have my rugrats. Doable for something big but probably not for a monthly meet.
