Yes, I take a supplement called Animal Flex for my joints and it also seems to help stabilise things a lot in regard to the IBS but I've yet to find a real cure!

Only specifically intolerant to eggs. I'm into strength training so the amount of food I eat doesn't help either way. Thinking I'll try going gluten-free next but I'm not sure it'll help.

Try it mate and the feeling of not being bogged down by gluten is amazing...high volume eating will really work as it will give more room for much more needed protein and fruit type foods. I eat 5 full chickens a week now and oily fish on the remaining 2 days along with veg and fruit and at 54 i feel like a power house. Dont need them dirty addictive white flour carbs in your life.

Yes and for years I've pretty much ignored it and kind of planned my life around it. However, recently I've been on a bit of a diet and and have drastically reduced the amount of carbs I eat, which must have reduced the amount of gluten. It was only reading this that made me realise it has been better this year, so maybe gluten is part of the problem.

i cut wheat dairy insoluble fiber soluble is ok low carbs no junk food what so ever no bread coffee pasta. i just eat eggs white rice any meat most veg is off as it has insoluble fiber, carrot and turnip is ok and bananas and apples with no skin are ok no sweets or choc what so ever and just drink water.

Funny how you eat so many different types of food through out your life and just assume something hasnt agreed with you or youve eaten too much lol, i dont think i suffer from any thing like that but i do feel bloated after certain foods and again, like now after a sunday roast i feel ive probably just eaten too much.

I do how ever drink loads of coffee in a day, but thinking back on days where i hardly eat much, i do feel better, so after reading this im going to take a look at my own diet :thumbup1:

i used to get bloated with gas i tried all kinds i found insoluble fiber the main killer jst one weetabix and the rest of the day i will have gas and bloating so look at your fiber first. insoluble fiber in the main ibs trigger

fuk me 4 i would look like i was knocked up

yes larger beer bloats the hell out of me i dont drink any ale
