Cheaper than £450 that's for sure but these look to be around £300.00 at your door if you're lucky.

 

I don't trust the ebay upfront import charges, think they could still be liable for UK customs VAT, pays your money and you take your chance.

i have no idea how it all works but how much extra could you be stung for i bought a strut bar and they didnt mention extra charges and it was £20 extra,

would the extra charge be that much more,

i may be wrong what mine cost i got them from zcentre, but £300 looks cheap...

Yep expensive for a set of bloody lights but much cheaper then buying here,

Well put it this way I think mine sold for around £350 used I need to buy another set but I'm to poor at the moment lol...

If anyone as got experience and paid the charges and therefore got the USA item through with no extra fees then fair enough but i'm just not prepared to risk it, once bought the UK customs have got you by the goolies holding your item until you've paid what can be another 20 or 25%.

If anyone as got experience and paid the charges and therefore got the USA item through with no extra fees then fair enough but i'm just not prepared to risk it, once bought the UK customs have got you by the goolies holding your item until you've paid what can be another 20 or 25%.

For buyers like me the GSP has allowed access to hundreds of US sellers who were not available before as they wouldnt ship outside the US.

I have been using it since its inception without any issues.

I allows me to calculate the delivered price before buying. So I can then re sell here with confidence knowing i will earn a small profit.

I have also used it to buy some Z32 parts for myself that nobody in the UK can match pricewise.

The 20% vat charge is estimated and paid in advance. In the unlikely situation of customs not agreeing with the assesment the difference will only be minimal.

Look at it this way Ebay sellers are now selling hundreds of thousands of items through the program. If it wasnt working "as advertised" then it would have been withdrawn.
