after all the welding the zed still failed it's mot today luckilly only one major job the rest are quite small in comparason.

1 number plate light not working

2 horn not working

3 exhaust leaking

4 brake servo leaking

 

quick question are these the correct front pipes for a jap tt?

Brake servo leaking was exact term used, it does whistle when braking hard or if my foot is on the brake for a period of time like when stopped in traffic

If you haven't got the pre-cats in the elbows yes they fit.will need a bit of manipulation if yours is Auto..........

pretty sure i have no precats just standard elbows, had a think about it a bit more and decided to go down the custom made route rather than the ebay route by time i've bought the pipes and paid to get them fitted etc, then it's quality of the pipes. so i'm paying a little more £300 fully fitted to have powerflow front pipes made up, i'm booked in to get them made & fitted next monday. as i'm planning on keeping the zed a while it's prob the better option

Totally agree on the custom route for the Exhaust mate,just not Powerflow Lol!

 

only reason i've gone powerflow is because they have a dealer close to where i live, and the rest of my cat back system is powerflow, not sure if the larger diameter front pipes will make much difference to the exhaust note, currently i have standard pipes with a section welded in where the cats should be
