Changed my front pads on 300ZX TT the other day as when i had my front tyres changed i noticed the pads were looking seriously low. Not sure if this is right but when i removed the old pads, the brake discs started flopping about! Is there meant to be a grub screw or small bolt to secure the discs to the hub? There seems to be a small threaded hole ready to accept somtehing. It's just that i sometimes get a clunky noise from the front when i apply the brakes at slow speed. I suppose that once all the pads are back in and the wheel nuts are tightened up the discs aren't going anywhere, but most cars i've ever worked on have a little grub screw to stop any play. Any ideas folks?? Oh yeah, one other thing.... due to excessive inside front tyre wear i had my front toe/camber checked and it seems way out. Apparrenty my J Spec camber can't be adjusted, but UK cars can! Thought i saw a thread about an adjuster kit that could be bought from somewhere. Anyone gone down this route..... with any success?
