Just curious smile.gif

What would be the top speed of a totally stock TT Manual?

I understand they are restricted at 155mph, but if that restriction is removed what will it hit??

Thanks.

Glen

Hiya Glen,

Just done a search on the forum. Seems to be alot of disagreement on this one m8! However, there is a great argument on the thread 'does an aftermarket ecu remove the 155 limit??' or something like that. Seems to be between about 180 and 190mph but can't guarantee that. Have a look for yourself! Just do a search for 'top speed'.

CheerZ,

Andy

Mine indicated 170mph the other week. Standard '91 TT manual. Obviously this was on a private road!

Strewth - I'd like to find a 'private' road long enough to do that. My record was 164 on a bike, and that was a long time ago.
