ok so iv noticed that when im giving it the beans especially in 1st gear at high rpm the throttle seems to stick for a few seconds, iv checked all the mechanical parts like the peddle, cable and linkages . just wanna know if anyone has any experience with this? kinda terrifying while going sideways xD

Is yours a manual or an auto? TT or Manual? I would imagine there are more ways an auto could do that than a manual.

What brought it on? Have you changed anything recently?

Have you washed your air filter in petrol? Or cleaned any of your inlet manifold with solvent???

The throttle on my TT stuck wide open once. There are a couple of small metal breather pipes either side of the engine at the front, right next to the throttle linkage. I found the one on the left had shifted a couple of mm and was rubbing against the linkage, which sometimes made it stick open. Pushed it back in and secured with a cable tie - end of problem! Hope it's this simple for you. Good luck

ohh ill have a look, it started doing it after i converted it to a manual, and saying that those pipes were taken out when fitting new breather hoses at the same time as the conversion, ill have a look at that

Get it stuck in properly or maybe worth cable tie it for now. It can come out while your driving fast and you're stuck in excellaration mode which is a little scary. It's happen to a few people on here including me.

I have all the rare bits you can't find :tongue:

Glad you got it sorted mate. I second what bird says about cable tying it. Happened to me at full chat on a dual carriageway once, nearly a brown-trouser moment!
