A question.

My Zed just back from Nelson Mandela after amongst other things had a whiney idler pulley replaced, so I assume they removed the rad. Even from cold this evening the fan seemed to be running at max speed. I'll phone them in the morning but any ideas on cause? Seem to remeber past posts about naked sender units.

Hiya Glenn. One thing to check is the connection on the temp sensor for the ecu. Theres two temp sensors, both on the top silver pipe coming from the centre of the plenum. The one to check for the ecu is the left hand side one as you look at the engine from the front. Check the connector is on - if it is check the connections by taking the connector off. Can't think of anything else for now though....

Hope this helps,

Andy
