Well a friend of mine is a mapper so im not worried about that and he has access to a dyno

my main concern are if these are any good over the standard MAF and worth buying

I have checked google but not many references to the 300zx, mostly american cars and the other jap brands etc etc

Nevermind, ill wait and see what they reply to me over at PMAS and may give it a go

Thanks anyway

I offered my take on them. They measure airflow the same as any other MAF. The difference being they can be very labour intensive to set up correctly. Which would be a concern for most people.

They are a great quality product, and if that specific model matches the stock MAF perfectly for an 80mm housing, it's an absolute no-brainer.

I'll probably get one of those specific models in the next couple of weeks and do some testing, hoping that the mounting screws line up with my current PMAS sensor :)

Faisal, have you searched for any reviews over on TT.net and the other U.S. forums?

Yeah I have, most people recommend them and say they're good but ideally i wanted some opinions from the 300zx community but couldn't find much.... Only thing i could find was Nistune doing a few vids on them and so im going to assume they're good or better then the standard MAF (or am i wrong)

Cheers mate, thats all i wanted to really know was if its a good quality product or not, if go ahead and buy it and it turns out to be complete piss then it turns out to be a waste of money and mostly time, the setting up im not to fussed how long that takes.... once its done its done

The one i posted above is specific to the Z32 so i would assume it is correct for the housing, but have emailed them to double check.

Have you had any issues with your PMAS sensor?
