I'm after a spare set of timing covers if anyone has some they fancy parting with...?

Don't know if there's a difference between early and late engines or not, but mine's a 1992 one so presumably an early one.

Cheers :)

Be interested myself if there is any difference. Do you need the lower portion or just the upper two?

I'll say "all of them" - might as well change everything at the same time :)

Ok well I have a set anyway, just means you've got to remove that pesky ancelery pulley on the crank to change the bottom one.

I'm assuming that pulley would come off as part of a timing belt change anyway...?

Yup pulley has to come off, water pumps in the way. They are yours if you want them, might take me a week or two to be able to post them though?

As long as I've got them by, for argument's sake, March 21st then it's all gravy :)

Drop me a PM with how much you want and all that kinda stuff please!

What ya doing like mate? Painting then up?

That's exactly what I'll be doing! :thumbup1:

I've been debating on it but moneys been a bit tight lately. Going silver or very freshening them up. I do have some somewhere but not sure if I have a second spare set tbh and obviously I'm looking at doing the same thing eventually.

To save Stephen having to chew on with posting a set, I could have your spare set and you could have the set that will then come off my car next month.. :)

Or am I thinking of non turbo ones?

Again, incorrect!

You are correct regarding the VTC delete however, but the moulds in the cam belt covers do not reflect that deletion.

Maybe it was someone who had customised them? Certainly nothing like that exists on any other of the VG30DE(TT) engines fitted to Infinitis and other Nissans.

The vvt unit is at the rear of the cam/engine, the front bulge is to accommodate the cam pulley bulge for the vvt spring housing, as far as im aware they are the same for TT and NA through the years.
