I'm after a zed, preferably KL0 silver or KH3 black, but will consider anything if the car is good enough. It must have the proper rear seat belts instead of the lapbelts the very early ones got, since I need to be able to get my kids in the back, and rust free. Already modified would be preferred, not too fussed about bodykits and the like, but I want it to be a quick one if I can help it, so breathing mods, boost increase, maybe an NA rear end swap, etc.

 

Is there anything out there worth getting at the moment?

It's not a big job to swap the early JDM rear lap belts for type that you're after. I wouldn't disregard a decent early model on this factor alone, buy the best rust free example you can afford.

Been looking since November 2014 mate, have yet to find one that ticks my boxes fully (no rust, fairly standard, half decent MoT/service history, car not garaged for years unused) - am pretty much giving up - just looking at the for sale section here such a dearth of 300zx's for sale at the moment. Considered importing but still a good 'un is few and far between - also going to look at other cars marques, maybe a 300zx just isn't meant to be!

Hi guys. its still here. I put it in storage last year in a heated garage with my other cars. Its making an appearance next week to get it checked over for the road for the summer. Stainless steel performance exhaust waiting to go on it and a little tuning. My mates mate builds rally cars for a lot of well known drivers and hes asked him to tweek it for me. so its going to him and his rolling road over easter.

 

So not going to sell it now, as although its not a tt {to a lot of peoples disgust on here}, its a fine example of a great car and Ill not get one as clean again.

I think you're going to struggle to get a nice, rust-free, nicely modified car for that... prices seem to be on the rise now so that seems to be the price range for the "less great" TTs...

For that money you are about 3 years too late......................and it wouldn't have included aTT engine conversion...........the market has changed so much in a short space of time.

If you don't mind me asking how much did you pay for the car imported covering all the fees etc?
