This might be something for phutumusch.....

 

I've been looking through various Nissan and Infiniti interiors. This was actually prompted my a friend of mine in Los Angeles. I came across the e/w switches from the P11 Primera which are identical. (See both photos.)

 

I don't know what the situation is with the wiring, but I am sure they can be modified to fit physically and electronically. I believe these are already pre-illuminated too. The bases would need to be split, hopefully that split chassis would mount up beneath a stock Z32 finishers. Z32-Zone do an adaptor harness, but not entirely sure whether some loom from a Primera can be spliced into the existing harness in the doors.

 

Just some thoughts for those that might want to try it....myself included!

 

The issue would be the finisher....whether that could be modified...
