I've been a Bmw man most of my life and currently have a 530d touring and a 1983 635csi I'm restoring but I've always fancied owning a 300zx too. Mainly due to its lines rather than any performance it may or not have.
Anyways I got offered a cheap 300zx Na auto yesterday and it was too cheap to pass up. It has a few issues namely it needs a new drivers window motor and secondly after a good few months parked up it will now crank over but not actually Fire. I have no knowledge of how the immobiliser system works on a 300zx. Does it usually prevent cranking as well as spark/fuel?
Anyhow the car was cheap enough that if I can't get it running I haven't lost much at all. Here she is.
