It's -2°, it's snowing, and it's a Sunday.

Yet me and Si (Mondo) are about to set off to Newcastle to start stripping parts off a Zed in an unheated lockup.

Must be mad. Utterly mad.

Zed #2: 1998 Midnight Purple 2+2 NA. (owned 2020 - now)

Zed #1: 1995 Blue Slicktop NA (2013-2015)

Maximum speed coming home from Hartlepool: 16mph. I can absolutely confirm that Zeds are NOT a winter car in any way... and mine even has winter tyres on!!!

Scariest journey I've done in a lot of years, that one. But happy to help a mate out :)

Now... about that favour you owe me, Lexx...

Been there. Everyone else's narrow little track left in the snow making the zed grapple and track, the snow thumping as it bumps off the underside and a trail of steam as the snow melts on your exhaust. Not to mention I had to drop into neutral to stop it spinning up on anything other than a modest bend, never again lol
