Hi Andrew welcome,

U need to put up more info for members to reply with the best info for u!

Where is it advertised? Reg No, service history? Recent work done? Import, UK, manual/auto?

Any mods?

Then u might get a more detailed response , also it maybe known to some members!

Good luck with ur search.

I'm selling a low mileage (65k) black LWB TT manual if you're interested. £2k as it is with no MOT as I'm struggling for time at the moment :(

Hi a manual would be even better. But a car wee no mot unfortunately can't work for me, I live in Shetland so I need a car I can drive to Aberdeen and catch the ferry.

Thankyou for the offer

IMO, its a fair price IF in very good order. You'll be able to shave a bit off that price though, I'm sure its been up for sale for a little while now.

Its a long way for a viewing though! The advert describes the car as 'immaculate' inside and out. With respect, I can tell you its not just from the pictures, but it does look tidy enough. I hate the misuse of wording in car sales, its so misleading.

Hi Noz, Would it take a lot of work to get your car through it's MOT. If it had an mot how much would you be looking for. Is it possible to post a photo.

cheers

I have everything required for it, doesn't need much. It's down at PowerZed but Jimmer & I are just so busy at the moment it' a struggle to find time. With regards to price with an MOT, thew are a few options based on modifications, mapping etc.

I will post more details when I get in later.

Its a fair price IMO, it looks a clean honest car. Obviously it could be a polished lemon. If your genuinely interested in a car far away from you it's always worth finding out exactly where it is, you will likely find a club member prepared to make a quick is it worth your journey inspection. It's a trader advert as well so some movement on price is virtually inevitable, I'm sure you could wave 3k at him and walk away rather happy, esp this time of year. Semi convertible classic sports car don't sell well in the depths of winter.

I have spoken to the dealer and he is willing to come down in price. I would need some expert advice on its actual condition. The car is located in Clapton common London. I don't want to put anybody out but it would be great if there was somebody near bye that could take a quick look to see if it is worth buying. The garage number is 02088062277. My number is 07880954479

regards

Andrew

I guess its this one you are looking at then.

Looks not to bad from the pictures, but I think you would need to get it cheaper.

It looks like rust coming through on the right hand front strut support, also looks like part of it has already been welded before.

Could be future work needed there.

Hi there that is the car, you know your stuff never noticed the rust coming through. Im guessing your in the fire service to. I was local authority now in airport fire service.

cheers

Does anybody know somebody that lives near Clapton common. For me to have a look I would have to travel the length of the country for a car that might be no use. If anybody could have a quick look for me to see if it is worth my while travelling down it would be appreciated.

Is their anybody near this car who would be willing to have a quick look to see if it is worth buying. Flights from Shetland to london are about £200 for the two flights down a lot to lay out if it is no use. If anybody could that would be brilliant.

Not as OEM-tastic, rust-free or manual as mine!

Check out those turrets!
