Nah, they're IHI turbos with custom manifolds. Unsure of the brand of the wastegate I'll have a look next time I'm with the car

Custom intercooler pipes too? If so, do you mind if I ask who made them?

Yeah they are bird, a twin setup with a MAP sensor. No idea who did them as it was imported with them. Now it's all back to stock just with some high flow cast manifolds. All the custom gear will go on at a later date once I've got the tubs refurbished, there was compressor wheel damage one side and apparently the turbines don't look too sharp either.

 

Got extra pre throttle body injectors iirc didnt it, I remember when you got it with all it's quirks.

Real shame too. Nice bloke and seemed pretty knowledgeable. I think he's a real miss to the club in my opinion

How does that work

 

It's an outdated method of injecting additional fuel based on boost pressure. Same as 5th injector setups on 4cyl engines. Had the same setup about 12yrs ago on my old Fiat Uno Turbo.
