CAS connectors NEW and OLD style???????

Hi all.... I have recently purchased a new CAS connector from a reputable source in the US..... and it is nothing like any CAS connector I have ever seen on a VG30DETT engine?

 

I got this connector today....

I contacted the supplier who is telling me I ordered the wrong part even though there is only one VG30DE CAS connector listed on the site and that it is my mistake and I need to purchase the correct connector that is actually listed as a SR20DET MAF connector...... ??

Am I going mad??

    Well the supplier has kindly agreed to send a replacement that will fit...... so alls good in the hood again.....lol

    I had no idea there was a series 1 and 2 version of the CAS..... never seen a series 2.....

    But now that I know.... In future I shall double check everything before ordering........
