Probably not, the SP400 are design for sport compact petrol engine up to 3litre as it only push out max 400amp.

Now people have had success with larger engine (350Z and my SC430), but it is still petrol based.

 

However, Diesel engine typically need 380amp to 470amp to start so the SP400 may not be strong enough.

Looks like it done the job without any issue even on the 3.5 litre engine. :)

Ordered mine yesterday, turned up today! So thumbs up for quick dispatch and delivery!

Looks like a pretty cool bit of kit...portable and comes with bag for it, which is a bonus!
